As a child I always knew that I wanted to work in the world of entertainment. I loved all forms of entertainment from music and poetry to cartoons and movies. From the very first time that I saw incredible heroes flying, swinging, running, punching and kicking across the TV screen, I knew that I wanted to create my own heroes. As a young adult, I entered the independent entertainment industry by self-publishing a book of romance poetry entitled “Brace Yourself”. After realizing some success with “Brace Yourself”, I began working with independent recording artists and producers and gained valuable experience in songwriting, music and music video production while learning the challenges of marketing and distribution as an independent entertainment company.

As the true nature of the business unfolded before me, my personal life became more complicated. I took a break from pursuing entertainment and entered corporate America. After gaining valuable knowledge and experience in corporate America, I knew that it was time to blend my creative talent, prior experience in entertainment and my understanding of business principles to establish a new company and once more enter the world of entertainment.

At this time I had the difficult choice of returning to poetry and music or developing the concepts for a new breed of action heroes that had been brewing in my mind during my break from entertainment. After my young son told me that he wanted to be Batman, but could not because of his brown skin I made the decision to bring my new team of African American heroes to life. Prolific Entertainment was founded to be the conduit for producing, marketing and distributing the Solo Legion brand, my other creative works and eventually the creative works of others.

Solo Legion is the fulfilment of a lifelong dream of creating an original, unique and exciting team of super human heroes that can hold their own against any team of heroes every created. It is my hope that the members of Solo Legion will entertain and inspire both children and adults of every race the way that super heroes from the past have inspired me.
